What was the genesis of the London meeting? The meeting evolved at the repeated urgings of our interna- tional base who wish to grow the CRE brand in a meaning- ful way outside the United States. There is also great interest among that constituency to expand the CRE professional network throughout the world to enable Counselors, wher- ever they live or do business, to access reliable CRE talent with the ease and confidence that characterize the American CRE network. It was important to the group that the meet- ing be held outside North America to ensure discussion remained focused on issues and activities associated with the European and Asian markets.
